Simple Chord Estimate: Submission to the Mirex Chord Estimation Task
نویسنده
چکیده
I present my submission MM1 to the Chord Estimation Task of the 2010 Music Information Retrieval Evaluation eXchange (MIREX 2010). The front-end chroma generation is based on a new implementation of NNLS Chroma as a Vamp plugin. The higher level model is very simple, and a very similar method is implemented as the nonHMM version of the Chordino plugin. These two plugins are now available at http://www.isophonics. net/nnls-chroma. The method has achieved the nextto highest chord overlap ratio (0.7963) among the participating methods.

Mirex 2010: Chord Detection Using a Dynamic Bayesian Network
We present our submission MD1 to the Chord Estimation Task of the 2010 Music Information Retrieval Evaluation eXchange (MIREX 2010). The front-end chroma generation is based on a new implementation of NNLS Chroma 1 as a Vamp plugin. The higher level model is implemented in Matlab as a dynamic Bayesian network (DBN) with extensive context modelling (metric position, key, chord and bass), leading...

This extended abstract describes a submission to the Music Information Retrieval Evaluation eXchange 2010 (MIREX 2010) in the Audio Chord Estimation and Audio Key Detection tasks. We propose a new model to recognize musical keys and chords simultaneously from musical acoustic signals including key modulations. Chords and keys are closely related notions of music involving harmony. Since occurre...

متن کاملMirex-2010 “audio Chord Estimation” Task: Ircamchord Submission
This document describes a submission to the Music Information Retrieval Evaluation eXchange in the Audio Chord Recognition task. We propose a new technique for joint estimation of the chord progression and the downbeats from an audio file. Musical signals are highly structured in terms of harmony and rhythm. Integrating knowledge of mutual dependencies between chords and metric structure allows...
متن کاملMinimum Classification Error Training to Improve Isolated Chord Recognition
This paper describes our submission to the 2009 MIREX Audio Chord Detection Contest. Improvements over the submission from last year [1] reduce feature correlation, account for differences in tuning, and incorporate minimum classification error (MCE) training in obtaining chordlevel HMMs. Experiments demonstrate that classification rates improve with tuning compensation and MCE discriminative t...
